0bama Sides Against Iran’s Freedom Fighters
In Iran, brave citizens continue to protest against their tyrannical, terrorist government. As the foremost beacon for freedom in the world, the United States should stand firmly with these protestors and against their illegitimate government. The protestors recognize this, which is why many of them chanted the question, “Obama, are you with us or against us?” during a recent protest. Unfortunately, as poltiical commentator Robert Tracinski understands, “It is shameful that Iran’s protesters should even have to ask where our president stands in a struggle for liberty. It is even more shameful when the answer is that he stands with Iran’s oppressive regime.” Obama’s anti-liberty beliefs continue to do enormous harm, not only to Americans, but also to millions of individuals around the world who likewise value freedom.
For further reading I recommend the following November 3rd Wall Street Journal piece written by two of the Iranian protestors. Their commentary details Obama’s deliberate ignoral of those in Iran who seek to live without the iron fist of oppression holding them down (or worse):
