The Lethality of Political Correctness

November 7, 2009

Malik Nidal Hasan had been under investigation by the army for his pro-jihad, anti-American viewpoints for six months prior to his decision to open fire on dozens of Americans at Fort Hood. He had some other… ahem… curious habits as well, such as showing his contempt for women by refusing to be photographed with them, citing his religion as the reason why; and listing his nationality as “Palestinian” despite being U.S.-born.

The trail of blood left behind is testament not only to the evil Hasan embraces, but also the cowardice of those in our government — and their supporters — who willingly choose to blind themselves to inconvenient truths. Enemies of America should not receive a “free pass to commit mass murder” simply because they have chosen a politically correct religion. A pox on those whose excuses for and appeasement of jihadis makes such atrocities possible.
