Partly as a result of the Climategate scandal, an acolyte of High Priest Al Gore’s First Church of the Warming Globe has been caught doctoring over 5,000 Wikipedia articles to spout eco-propaganda. This acolyte — Green Party activist William Connolley — removed over 500 articles he didn’t like from Wikipedia, barred over 2,000 contributors from Wikipedia (so much for Wikipedia’s laughable claim that it is a democratic source of information), and re-wrote existing articles to spread misinformation (for example, denying the existence of the Medieval Warm Period, a roughly 400-year period beginning about 1,000 years ago in which the earth in general was warmer than it is today). Thus I suggest an appropriate motto for Wikipedia: “All the propaganda any ol’ twit can submit.”
