Poland Spring vs. Bottled-Water Consumers

Recently, bottled-water company Poland Spring reduced the size of its bottle caps by about 20%, citing environmental mumbo-jumbo: “This is part of our ongoing effort to reduce our impact on the environment… Be Green.” That’s too bad, as I have not shrunk by 20% — which means the caps which once fit my normal-sized human hand are now far to small for me to easily use. As such, I have instituted (ahem) my own effort to reduce my impact on the environment: never buying Poland Spring bottled water ever again, since Poland Spring cares far less than they should about the folks who actually use their product.
