0bama the Tax-Loving Empty Suit
During 0bama’s presidential campaign, he pledged — countless times — that he would not raise taxes on families making less than $250,000 per year. For example, on September 12, 2008, 0bama promised “I can make a firm pledge, under my plan, no family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase. Not your income tax, not your payroll tax, not your capital gains taxes, not any of your taxes.” Obama has already broken this promise, and there are ominous signs he may do so yet again. On April 21, 2009, 0bama indicated that he is open to the possibility of creating a so-called “value-added tax” (VAT), a better description for which is a sales tax on steroids. 0bama remarked, “There’s been a lot of talk around town lately about the value-added tax. That is something that has worked for some countries… I want to get a better picture of what our options are.” Obama is charismatic, handsome — and makes absolutely no effort to keep his word to his fellow Americans. In other words, 0bama is the perfect example of an empty suit. Shame on him, and shame on those gullible enough to fervently support his war on prosperity.
